6th Information day on development and cooperation
The 2013 Information day on development and cooperation of the Swiss Universities of Applied Sciences and Arts will be replaced by an event organized directly by SDC and KFPE: “Research Fair: Results and Innovations from Transnational Research Partnerships” Wednesday, 5 June 2013 9.15-15.00 SDC Headquarters, Freiburgstrasse 130, Bern. Research Collaboration with Developing and Transition Countries


The program 'Research Partnerships between Swiss Universities of Applied Sciences and Developing and Transition Countries' supports universities of applied sciences (UAS) and universities of teacher education (UTE) working in cooperation with developing and transition countries on projects involving applied research and development. For this purpose a UAS/UTE submitting a request cooperates with a competent institution in the partner country which has an interest in a transfer of know-how and a research partnership with a Swiss UAS/UTE and is willing to make a contribution towards this end. The program is committed to solidarity with developing and transition countries and promotes international opening and cooperation with partners of the Swiss UAS and UTE worldwide.
